{e.g. - username or username@whc.net}

"Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" should not be checked.

Now click on the "More Settings..." button to the far right. On this small window that popped up, choose the "Outgoing Server" tab at the top and put a check into "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and now choose the "Advanced tab at the top. Here you will see two boxes with numbers. Make sure the settings look like this:

Incoming server (POP3): 995 (or for IMAP: 993)
This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) should be checked.

Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) should be checked.

Click "Ok" at the bottom of this small window. Now on this page, there is an option to "Test Account Settings..." Do not use this feature. (Our server has a security timeout time that is not compatible with Outlook's test account settings feature... it'll fail this test if this option is kept checked) Click "Next" at the bottom and then "Finished"

Your account is now fully setup on Microsoft Outlook 2007.
